“Just when we thought there were no honest mechanics in the Tidewater area, we discover these guys. We've been to so many mechanics in Portsmouth and Chesapeake. Every time, there's something that we discover was a rip-off. Even Dodd's tried to charge me several hours labor more than they actually did, and when I showed him the timestamps of "this is what your car needs" call and "your car is ready for pickup" call on my cell phone (back when cellphones were just coming out), he changed his story and tagged the difference on some cockomany BS. I told him he'd never see my car again. So the closest mechanic we could trust was four hours away, until we were put on the spot and had to find someone close. AAA has never ripped us off. They only do work that's necessary, and don't overcharge. I actually hesitate posting this because the wait time isn't that bad, and I don't want to mess that up. ???? But they deserve a positive shootout. Good job, AAA!”
