“AMAZING TITLE COMPANY! Definitely use them!! This was actually the title company our builder selected and when we asked about them our agent said they were great and would be wise to agree to use them and SO GLAD WE DID. Millie Rodriguez was WONDERFUL in every way! At the last minute we found out our closing date had to be delayed because the appraisal not received in time for it to close on the scheduled closing day, which was a Friday (this was a federal law issue that the appraisal had to be received for 3 days before closing is allowed to happen so it was not an issue with the lender or title co, there was nothing they could do about it.) This was a huge obstacle for us as this was a long distance move and our house had just closed so we couldn't stay there and we were driving up to VA that day having expected a Friday close. It was also Memorial Day weekend so there was seemingly no way to close before Tues and husband had to be back at work Tues out of state so he wouldn't have been able to be there for a Tues closing and the kids and I had no where to go and couldn't close without husband there to sign everything. A POA would have taken considerably more time as well as he would have to get back out of state to get to his legal office, all with no place to live and a trailer full of stuff that we drove up 14 hours with us, and the movers needed to deliver our goods on their truck to the home. MILLIE RODRIGUEZ was able to arrange for a Saturday close for us because of the extenuating circumstances! I hesitate to put that out there, but it needs to be known just how above and beyond they went for us on a holiday weekend no less, because of the circumstances. So we were able to successfully close Saturday morning (which was the earliest day we could do based on when the appraisal was received by federal law). I couldn't be more thankful for Millie Rodriguez at Stewart Title for making this happen for us in such a desperate situation!!! She even had cookies, coloring books, and TV all set up for the kids to be occupied during the closing. Mark Fitzgerald was of course great, too, and walked us easily through everything during the signing process. I HIGHLY recommend Stewart Title, you won't be disappointed!”
