“This will be the most important review you will ever read. I will be 100% honest with my experience with Heather (Jersey Girl Public Adjusters). I am a younger home owner and lived in my home for a year and a half before my issues started to arise. We bought an older home and unfortunately, its beauty, only hides some major issues. My upstairs shower — the only shower in my home —decided to leak into my living room. I asked my local contractor to come out and take a look, praying for an easy fix. After a few minutes, he immediately knew this was no easy fix. As the price climbed and the issues and damages were rising, I was stuck in a bad spot. I could not afford the damages that my old house was creating, and it was a new homeowner's nightmare scenario: either take out a loan or call the insurance company. Well I called the insurance company, without back up. I believed their nice charade as they told me they had my back and they would take care of anything and everything. THIS IS A LIE. The insurance only cares about the insurance. Not you, not me, they are in the business of making money. After looking at the thousands in damages, they gave me pennies, and then did what I call "ghosted” me. That friendly insurance guy who would fix everything somehow wasn't there to answer how I was to fix 30 grand in damages with $4,000. Feeling more hopeless then before, I searched on what I could do. Someone suggested hiring a public adjuster. After some research, Jersey Girls popped up so I gave them a call. THIS IS THE BEST DECISION I EVER MADE. She immediately answered, friendly, understanding, and ready to work. With each question, she had answers. She set up an appointment to look at everything and figure out a game plan. With staying honest, we ran into a quick hiccup. My fiancée wasn't sold. Heather was eager, matter of fact, and ready to go yesterday, and we were scared and nervous. We were burned not too long ago by a person who swore we would be taken care of. How could we trust someone else now we just met? So we said we’d think on it. Heather was understanding, but determined. She waited a week and called me. We discussed various concerns and things to make sure that we knew for sure she had our best interests in mind. By the end, we decided to hire her. Just like that she was shooting out of the gate accomplishing more in 24 hours than we did in weeks. Heather argued and fought tirelessly to make sure not only were we getting the money we deserved, but accommodations we didn't know we were entitled to, like a shower at a nearby hotel. She never stopped, she didn't quit, and was always there to answer my calls. She would say over and over again, once I hire her she would take us on like family. I always thought how lame or gimmicky that sounded, but I was wrong. We felt like her family. She cared. She really wanted what was best. I cannot tell you how thankful we are. Do not take the insurance company on on your own. Hire Jersey Girls. Let Heather be the gritty family member you need to handle the hard times. She is simply the best.”
