Insurance bonus.
I'm a new driver in MA, and called Allstate after 6pm on a week night and automatically got transferred to their nearest open office, which was somewhere in southern NH - I prefer this method to some other companies, which might transfer your call to some central office, regardless of where your call originates from. The broker I spoke to in NH was very knowledgeable about the idiosyncrasies of the registration process in MA (they obviously deal with a lot of customers in the Boston area).
I put my down payment on my policy that evening, and the very next day I went to this particular Allstate branch. I had a terrific experience in the branch as well! My policy was pushed through their system, and I walked out in 20 minutes with a pre-filled-out, signed, and stamped RMV-1 form, which I took directly to the RMV to get my registration. Everything went very smoothly and I absolutely recommend this Allstate office.
