“I was fairly sure I could get a better deal on car insurance from a local provider, but I didn't expect it to be such a gratifying experience. I walked in the door and was greeted by Sherry immediately. She asked me to wait for a moment; it was less than 60 seconds and we were talking insurance. Sherry reviewed a couple items on my current plan and identified areas I was likely to get burned if involved in an accident (the online guys didn't do that for me). She recommended that I increase coverage in those areas and thought to myself "Here comes the up-sale, this isn't going to be any cheaper at all". Spoiler alert- I was wrong! I left the office and she went to work getting my quote together and less than an hour later I had an official quote in my inbox. LESS THAN HALF (47%) what I was paying and with much better coverage limits. I was able to e-sign all the docs from my computer and didn't even need to go back to their office. I will never by insurance from the web based, national insurance chains again. The big guys claim big savings but Linville delivered! After getting the run-around from another accountant because I'm not a high-paying corporation, I called Williams at the beginning of April hoping that they might be able to squeeze in a new client (several others couldn't). “I love the website, it's easier to use (and it was pretty easy before). Your rates are pretty great considering that if you never have use your insurance, it's a straight expense. You guys make that easier to deal with. I think I've had to use insurance 4 times in 40 years, (someone egged my truck, some road work being done did some minor damage, someone dropped a 2 x 4 from their truck on the interstate that hit my car and a deer jumped in front of me on the highway) so I know the feeling of paying for something that you might rarely if ever use.
