Because of State Farm Agent Kelly Gordon giving me "my first real job opportunity in 1995" both my son Anthony and I have grown up to be successful adults in society. I say this because she not only was my employer/boss but also my mentor. At my young age of 15 I had given birth to my first and to date only child. Kelly gave me advice and mentored me without even knowing how it would have impacted my life 25 years later. Because of her I never was a welfare recipient. I always worked hard to give my son the best life I could. Kelly moved her State Farm Agency away from San Diego and I went onto achieving my California State License for Property, Fire and Casualty Insurance. However later in life I stumbled into Dentistry and have successfully mastered financing in dental to help people achieve a smile they could afford. My son has just recently enlisted into the United States Navy. Without Kelly mentoring me or giving me a opportunity in her agency, knowing I had no experience. I know I would have not became successful in life. 25 years later I want the world to know how great her soul is to have given me a chance that forever changed my life and my son Anthony's life.
