I have been thinking about getting life insurance for a while and have been putting it off because I anticipated it would be a very uncomfortable conversation. It’s not always easy to talk about life and critical illness insurance - or about your finances in general. Michael Peters was quick to put us at ease and helped us determine the level of coverage we need in order to maintain a similar lifestyle to the one we currently have - there are a lot of factors to consider that hadn’t even crossed our minds! He walked us through the application process and kept us updated with any news he received along the way. I certainly didn’t think this process would be quick and painless, but with Brown Financial on our side, it really was.
Nick Brown helped us with our life insurance, critical illness insurance and investments. Together we calculated the amount of coverage we need based on our personal situation. We now know “our number” and we are confident that we can continue living the life we want to live if disaster strikes. Nick uncomplicated the process. He met with us in our home, spent time educating us and translated industry jargon into easy-to-understand language. We speak to him on a regular basis, and he is always responsive and accessible. You’re gonna die, so Nick’s your guy!
The team at Brown Financial provide a level of support that many in the industry simply don't care to provide any more. My wife and I are both entrepreneurs who thought we had a handle on "planning for the unexpected". With two young children and a mix and match style of products to protect our family interests we didn't realize the significant shortfall that existed. It was Mike's patience and experience that helped us navigate the products and services available for consideration to best protect us should the worst happen. Without this approach we would have kept our status quo which fell short of how we wanted to protect our most important assets... our family and ourselves.
