(February 10, 2015, 11:20 pm)Last year, I discovered that my previous insurance agent (MPIA) had accidentally cancelled my auto policy six months earlier. MPIA's response was to get his assistant to call me and offer to sell me a new policy. I called Dennis. He made time for me immediately, and within the hour he had found me a new auto policy with better coverage and lower rates than the old policy that I thought I had. While we were at it, he saved me money on my homeowner's insurance, even though I had placed a claim the previous winter when a tree fell on my house.
Something I appreciate about Dennis is that he knows how insurance works and how to manage risk. If I have a question about whether to report a claim, he offers sensible advice. I don't think there's anyone in Madison who knows more about insurance than Dennis Bertz does. I wholeheartedly recommend Affordable Family Insurance.
(December 20, 2011, 11:55 am)I've had the opportunity to work with Dennis over the last couple of years and I must say I am impressed. He's gone the extra mile to make sure I understand my policies and continually shops his options to make sure he is offering low rates. I noticed a review below that someone was complaining about using smaller insurance companies. This is why I like this Abacus-Bertz. Have you ever needed to make a claim with a big box company? It's like pulling teeth. There is something to be said about dealing with a company that services Wisconsin specifically.Getting a call back has never been an issue for me. I think the person below had been an isolated incident or more likely a competitor.
