(August 20, 2017, 9:59 pm)They dont seem to be genuine agents. The agent was polite and gave me a good quote (though as is expected, kept trying to push for coverages I did not need) but ONE MONTH after paying in full for 6 months for the car insurance and getting a receipt for it and being assured that i will get my final insurance card in the mail, I get a rude letter from State Farm that my insurance will be cancelled within 3 days of receipt of the letter giving no valid reason whatsoever. When I call the agent, he is clueless too - he assures he will to the bottom of it (wastes precious time as I inch towards being uninsured) but comes back with a higher quote.
This agent does not seem to be genuine - why would they be clueless about the company's verdict then? Either that or they are purposely fradulent. Stay away!
Even my refund is not received yet - though they tell me it was sent 5 fays ago!
EDIT 11th January; the agent's rep called me back and did what appears to be his best to set things right and I now seem to have my insurance back at a good enough price. Thank you to them; apparently the problem was not with the agent but with the STate Farm HQ; have changed the rating to 4 stars from 1 - perhaps HQ still deserves 1! I hope no more issues; thank you Paula and Dwight!
EDIT2: Turns out the agent is a fraud after all. And what is worse, they shove the blame for their incompetence on the company! Even after paying for a 6 month policy on 12th Jan, I get a notice in early May that my policy is due for renewal in May! Then they tell me that "oh but the payment you made was not for 6 months!"
EDIT3: They sorted it out. Paula is very helpful. So back to 4 stars
