  Having water issues so stoped in kpt. Office as my agent is in Bltv. Everyone tries to help you no matter where your agent is .My complaint ( not kpt.s offices fault) is That I had to fill out very detailed paper work of every item lost, price paid, replacement cost, and how much I was claiming then space for adjuster to put amount they approved ( I have total replacement cost insurance) I've yet to have this supplied to me, not saying amount is or isn't correct ; but still want this itemization to compare with my itemization. I've been with Farm Bureau for more than 30yrs. I've recommended them to many and several have changed as their rates can't in my opinion be beat ; however if you have bad driving record this won't apply they may not accept you.I've not had a problem thankfully. Anyone who doesn't have renters insurance needs to absolutely do so as its so minimal in cost you'll never miss the money and if you become a home buyer just switch accordingly. My first claim was 2006 when I was robbed they were there for me immediately not quite as well with this claim. Try them get a quote . My brother changed about 14 yrs. Ago it saved him over $600.00 per yr. He was amazed as he like myself thought insurance was for farmers alone which it isn't. Even with current claim (which I hope they don't drop me) I don't think you'd do better else where.

  Good insurance company, but the price of their car insurance has become way too high.

  They are quick to take care of your claim but if you want to pay your premium by the month expect automatic bank draft

  The Farm Bureau Insurance is located on Memorial in a little building away from everything they have very good life insurance policies This is highly recommended by me if you need a life insurance policy they have several good ones I give it fifteen thumbs up they're awesome and very friendly but as far as the insurance as in car insurance vehicle insurance and also much my grandmother years ago had bought me a vehicle and because it was in her name is the same thing my mom assisted me and helping me a vehicle recently that I had to make payments towards which I finally paid off but in order for me to get insurance they said it was a problematic and they would drop her insurance if I did not get insurance through them because the vehicle was in mine and her name which was BS because my name is on the insurance first so my mom I looked her in the eyes and told her the wrong they just wanted her money in my mind they tried to charge me hundreds of dollars for insurance when I simply went to direct who are my insurance was only $63 and that was for liability uninsured motorist pretty much full coverage insurance is what I had

  Pretty fair place to deal with compared to the alternatives. The people in the Kingsport office are nice.
