  Good Day. I wish to send this brief review and note of appreciation to the Colgan Insurance Agency and, most importantly Mr.Gene Svrcek. In December 2017, I had the misfortune of experiencing several pipes breaking from the cold weather and damage to my home from flooding. I have been a client of the Colgan Agency for my home and auto insurance with Penn National for many years and contacted Mr. Svrcek to explain the situation. He genuinely listened and helped me with the claim. I absolutely could not have completed the damage repair work, restoration and new kitchen remodeling without the help I received from Mr. Svrcek and the insurance company. I will always be grateful for his kindness, support and empathy when I experienced this misfortune. I continue recommending him and the Colgan Agency to my family and friends. Thank you. Joann Bagay

  Wow!! We got "MORE COVERAGE' for 'LESS MONEY'!
  It started when a woman who answered the phone was extremely knowledgeable, helpful. and agreeable. I decided that if the company had the sense to put someone like her in the front office, they probably knew what they were doing and they did.
  
  We have been with another insurance company for 30+ years. Within a span of 5 years,we had 6 floods in our basement and incurred huge bills replacing 3 furnaces, 3 waterheaters and washers/dryers. Needless to say, we were subjected to much frustration and great expenses.We were compensated with very little. The floods were a result of problems with PWSA when there were steady, heavy rain storms.Enough was enough. We contemplated changing insurance companies and agents.
  
  After a referral from a friend who was so happy with her agent, GENE SVRCEK with Colgan Ins Co, we called Gene.He drove all the way from Donora to the city just to look over our situation and didn't complain about the inconvenience. Gene Svrcek, with his INDISPENSABLE KNOWLEDGE, outlined a solution to our current problem. Gene was able to "LOWER OUR PREMIUMS AND DOUBLED OUR COMPENSATION'. Gene is an advocate for his clients. We appreciate the time and effort he expended on our situation. His constructive suggestions helped us in the end.It was a pleasant experience from start to finish! He is considerate,creditable,dependable,efficient,honest, and oh so pleasant! I don't usually give UNSOLICITED ADVICE, but this seems to me to be a special case. We hope we will enjoy many more years of doing business together! I can recommend with complete confidence GENE SVRCEK with COLGAN INSURANCE AGENCY.

  I would like to thank colgan insurance for all there help with my dad's insurance claim the timely manor from start to finish was amazing I have heard stories about other agency and nightmares people go through . The girls and Gene Svrcek the owner are so caring and really take care of there clients and the travelers insurance reps were amazing so much that I called them up to thank both of them and thank them so much for all there help . So take the time and check out the Colgan Insurance agency for all your insurance needs you won't be sorry
