I'd known Gregg Rall for about a year before he asked me if he could re-quote my home and auto insurance. I asked him what that meant and what he needed from me to accomplish this. He explained that many people do not realize they are overpaying for their insurance because their current company automatically increases certain prices, and they just accept the bill and renew each year; what he wanted from me was a copy of my current policies to review and see if I was getting a good deal or not.
I sent him a copy of my current home and auto insurance policies. I'd just renewed, so it was easy to find. A week later he called me back; he had good news and bad news. First, the bad news: due to certain technical issues, my umbrella policy was insufficient for my family needs; he recommended a larger, more comprehensive umbrella policy. Second, the good news: He compared our policy limits to policies at 12 other companies that specialize in servicing homes like mine. And he could save use about *half* on our home and auto policy.
NOTE: Gregg has asked me MANY times to not tell people he could save THEM HALF. Just that in my case he was able to save ME.
But he didn't stop there. Two of the companies were particularly competitive in price, and one was slightly more than the other now, BUT became significanly less than the other when I have a teenage driver... which I was close to having. And he explained that they would review the policy each year - and if it increased more than 5% they would run another policy comparison across the companies to see if a better deal was available. That is the kind of service I want to tell the world about!
In any case, I NOW SMILE EVERY TIME I PAY THE INSURANCE BILL BECAUSE IT IS LIKE I GOT A $3000/YEAR RAISE!
You need to ask them to review your policy!
(July 28, 2017, 12:20 pm)I switched from Farmer's to Quest when Gregg pointed out that my business vehicle, which is sometimes filled with thousands of dollars in equipment for an event, was insured as a private vehicle rather than a business vehicle. What did that mean? Stolen vehicle = my loss = bad situation for me.
Being a professional photographer, I had a need for business policies for my gear, for my location, for my vehicle and one for my drone (few insurers cover drones and liability). Gregg and his team found one carrier to wrap everything inside of and it was more competitive that having 4 policies from 4 different insurers.
The office has awesome humor. They take care of their people. He did not pay me to write this and I am not a relative in my basement taking a break from video games with Cheetos dust on my chest boosting his google rankings. I'm just a hard working guy who feels others should know about Gregg and Quest and the appreciation I have for them! Nice shirt, Rall! :-)
