In 1895, David Sam Romig founded the The Romig Agency after he sold enough policies from his three-wheeled bicycle to open an office. Since that time in the 1890's, it had remained a family owned and operated business for two additional generations. In 1986, Michael "Obie" Oberholzer purchased the insurance agency from the Romig Family.
