(May 12, 2019, 9:48 pm)A large tree fell on our house in High Point, NC during Hurricane Michael and caused substantial damage to our house. The process of working with the insurance company was overwhelming. Rick walked us through the process and had to hold our hand at times when it got difficult. Because of his extensive experience, he gave us confidence that it would all turn out alright in the end. This helped us remain calm despite going through what could have been a very stressful experience.
As of this point, Rick has gotten us almost double what we were originally offered by our insurance company. There were many things the insurance companies adjuster overlooked and also secondary water and mold damage that occurred in the weeks after the storm while we were still waiting on their estimate. The insurance companies adjuster was difficult and at times rude which made the situation even worse. Rick remained involved with every communication and was willing to argue with them on our behalf. On our own we probably would have caved in to their pressure but he remained steadfast and pulled us through it.
(January 2, 2019, 11:20 pm)We contacted Rick after our rental property in North Topsail Beach, Topsail Island was damaged from hurricane Florence. We received payment from our insurance carrier which was not nearly enough to pay for all of the needed repairs. We were very frustrated being forced to fight for what we deserved. Thankfully someone referred us to Rick Carter. From our first contact with Rick we knew he was special. His level of integrity and knowledge are outstanding. After handing the case over to him the weight of the world was lifted off our shoulders. Rick was able to get us double the amount insurance originally paid us! If you are looking for a public adjuster LOOK NO FURTHER, Rick is the best and will provide you with honest and superb service.

He pointed out many issues that the field inspector had not listed on my estimate that I had not seen. Although he was unable to take our case due to the smaller financial scope, my husband and I really appreciated his expertise.

(December 3, 2017, 2:28 pm)Rick Carter is professional and a man of integrity. He helped us at a time when I could not even think straight. Hurricane Harvey devastated us and our home was damaged considerably. The Insurance Company gave us a pittance which barely covered the new roof we had already had to put on both the house and detached garage. Rick dug in and worked on the claim in great detail. He is very tenacious. The end result thus far is nearly 3.5 times the amount we originally received. We are now working with our contractor to complete the repairs on our home properly and breathing a sigh of relief.
