  My fiance and I first worked with James Dunn on renters insurance in Manhattan. He turned around the information we needed very quickly and offered the best rate. Then when it came time to purchasing our first car, we researched all the typical auto insurance companies. The rates were much higher than anticipated so we reached out to James and not only did he turn around a quote within one hour, his quote was significantly less than competitors. We had a few questions before finalizing and he jumped on the phone, walked us through everything and helped expedite our insurance papers. We highly recommend James Dunn and Birtwhistle & Livingston for all your insurance needs!

  Working with Sebastian through the process of renewing my commercial insurance was a great experience. He is knowledgeable, caring and patient. He always made himself available to answer all the many questions I had either over the phone, in person, or over email. Would definitely consider working with him again and recommending him to family and friends.

  I was looking for lower rate to replace my existing car insurance and at a friends recommendation, I had the chance to speak to Sebastian from B&L. While we weren't able to find a policy that fit my budget, he was able to explain different rates and types of plans that may be a better fit for me in the future. I found him to be courteous, friendly, and (most of all) had a sense that he really cared about my needs and expectations. Sebastian really exemplifies a value this company follows, which is treating its clients like family. I felt completely welcome talking to him and refer him to friends and family whenever I get the opportunity.
