He’s a good baseball coach
I hired this agency on behalf of my elderly father. He was ready to downsize, which meant unloading a house, about 30 acres of land and 75 years’ worth of personal possessions. I chose Mr. Hampton for this gargantuan job for a variety of reasons. First, I felt like he had to be honest, since no one can survive for so long in such a small town unless they are a straight shooter. Second, I felt like he’d be a good fit for dealing with my father - professionalism, courtesy and affability were must haves. I was not wrong on either count. What I did not expect was the clock work manner in which this ridiculously enormous job was done. Mr. Hampton and his team were able to organize a behemoth project ON TIME no matter what went wrong. In the rare instances when he wasn’t confident about the value of something, he called in his local experts. When I was faced with some last minute obstacles, he called in his troops and got it done. Helping your elderly parent sell most of what they own is incredibly hard - logistically and emotionally. He understood that and it showed in everything he did. The other unexpected thing was that I was never mad at any point. I can be a persnickety pain in the butt at times. I like things to go my way, on my schedule and not have to guess if the person I’ve hired is doing what needs doing. This is worth mentioning because it seems like these days, when you enter a contract for work to be done, the other party might not be as timely as they should, or don’t communicate well, or the end result isn’t what you were expecting. Well, cue the Hallelujah chorus because I was never disappointed in anything. Never mad, never wondered if things were clicking along as they should. From Day One until the date of the closing, he was on top of every task that needed to be done. Stellar work, no regrets and unequivocally recommend.
