After a recent car accident and being forced to purchase a new vehicle that I couldn't really afford right now, I decided to really shop around and do my research. I had at least 6 salesmen contacting me between Lincoln, Omaha, and Council Bluffs and across several dealerships. I looked at many cars but have been a loyal Subaru owner for almost 15 years. Selling me on a Subaru was not a difficult task. I met Mike Hobbs at Edwards during my search. He was my sales representative. He was honest, no-nonsense, and professional. He was also patient and willing to work with me. Because I really needed a lower price, I didn't mind asking for what I wanted. The negotiation process (which was via email) was not bothersome for me. While he wasn't pushy or aggressive in the least and certainly didn't feed me the lines, he was not able to meet my price. But I purchased anyway because at the end of the day, I felt I was treated fairly and did receive a fair if not good price for the car. Mike wanted to work with me, and I felt good about doing business with him. My schedule was also crazy. We shook hands on Friday evening, and I agreed to be back Saturday morning, but I wanted a perfect-looking car and I only had 1 hour to complete all paperwork. It was all done in 45 minutes. They even took care of gassing my rental car for me, which was a huge relief since my schedule was tight. I happily drove away in my new Subi! Thank you, Mike Hobbs!
We told Todd Roberts what we options we needed, he showed us 3 different choices, was very informative on the test drives, and helped us in our decision. We friendly and helpful, no high pressure sale.
