I have been a customer of John M Glover / Mortensen Agency for many years. I highly recommend them for all your insurance needs. My family has dealt with The Mortensen Agency for decades but for some reason, I never chose to join in. I worked closely with the agency while taking care of my mother's interests while she was ill and was invited on several occasions to let them quote me on my insurance. Finally, I took them up on the offer.
You know what I'm going to say: I saved a bunch on my car insurance.
The quote that was offered came in at less than half of what I was paying from an insurance company that I'd been with for 25 years. Moreover, the insurance offered me ended up being far better coverage than what I had previously been carrying, making me wonder what exactly my previous agents had been doing for the last 25 years.
I also found this agency to be extremely protective of my family and my family's interests. While taking care of my mother's interests during her illness, I received a call telling me that with no claims or changes reported, the renewal offer on my mother's homeowner's insurance would likely double, but that they were on it. Mortensen's gave me the renewal offer and then found, as they would ultimately do for my car insurance, a carrier that offered a much more robust coverage at a greatly reduced cost. When that new carrier insisted on some changes to trees near my home, the agency worked with me and my new carrier to set a timeline for completion of that work that was most reasonable.
