4/27/2022 Updated review. Colonial Penn, advertised on tv, is a bad life insurance policy, it caters to people who don't know that if they die within the first two years of the "$9.95 Plan," they aren't covered. Colonial Penn will simply return the premiums paid, during that period.
Bottom line: Colonial Penn's Guaranteed Acceptance Life Insurance plan is completely legitimate, but the premium your mom would have to pay to cover her burial expenses is far greater than $9.95 per month.
