I was at my closing for the purchase of my new home when I received a phone call that would impact my life forever. The Uhaul truck my movers rented had caught on fire and my entire belonging and that of my parents (as I had just moved them into a nursing home the week prior) got destroyed. Not only were they destroyed by the fire, some of our items were stolen because Uhaul didn’t retrieve our items ( as they were left on the side of the road ) until 2 days after.
Needless to say.... I was lost and living in a hotel trying to sort out what just happened. That’s when my attorney referred me to give B.R.A.V.E. a call. That was the best decision I ever made!!!!! They returned every phone call I made (and there were many), they were with me every step of the way. They had immense compassion and understanding of my situation.
