(June 18, 2019, 2:47 pm)I cannot say enough good things about Dolores Hill at AAA. We own property in a high-risk area for fire. I am starting to lose count of how many insurance companies have dropped us due to increased fire risk. Dolores sticks with us EVERY TIME. Because my husband and I have gone through so many home insurers we can say this with certainty: Ms. Hill approaches her work as a service to the community, not a job. She spends a lot of precious time (that most insurers spend racking up a high volume of the easily-insurable) to go the extra mile (and mathematically-speaking losing the extra buck) and help the thousands of Californians who are in the same scary predicament that we are in. She could have easily dismissed us with "your mortgage company can arrange something" each time an insurance contractor dropped us. But she hasn't. Not for us nor for the many homeowners she represents. This woman is a true advocate for California homeowners. I am literally thanking the Lord that she is a woman of conscience and a woman who clearly approaches her work as a mission. Thank you also to AAA for standing behind the community efforts of your employees. The Martinez family is indebted to you.
(May 5, 2019, 10:43 am)Everytime I have been in here for dmv reasons all the staff has been extremely helpful and have been in and out in about 20 minutes. Much better than waiting at the dmv for 5 hours.

(May 2, 2019, 9:21 pm)Renewing license plate tags on an older vehicle can be a challenge: it took 4 trips to the mechanic (and perhaps more $$$ than reasonable) to get the "Check Engine Light" issues resolved. Then, the "star" certified emissions test and the extra required testing is outrageously expensive, and a $200+ fee to renew a 23 year old truck is beyond obscene. None of which is the fault of my local AAA office. Indeed, words cannot describe how much more awesome the experience at the DMV service desk at AAA exceeds the same experience at the local DMV office. The bright shining star in the whole process. Just the DMV desk alone is well worth the cost of the AAA membership. Add the towing/roadside assistance and the travel planning and it's a no-brainer.
