(September 6, 2018, 6:02 pm)If it was not for the service and due diligence of Peter Chan I may well be leaving a 1* review. We had converted out van to a camper van and over many weeks went back and forth checking that we met the criteria with Peter. We paid for an inspection of the van and drove to Delta to have it weighed. Peter was not in the office when we went in with the van but he had left detailed notes about our case with a colleague. Long story short we were turned down for the conversion even though we knew we met the requirements.
We wasted well over an hour of our time and to have the person talk badly of Peter was completely unprofessional and left a really bad taste in our mouths. We then came back in to see Peter when he was in the office and as we knew we conformed to all the very strict criteria we needed to with ICBC, the transaction went through without issue. The Co-Operators should be very glad that they have Peter working for them as he actually takes the time to complete his job properly, a great asset to have.
I also tried to phone the office on another day to ask for Peter and was told there was no one there called Peter, it was very difficult to understand the person and I had to phone another two offices to confirm as we knew that he did work there. We will take other other insurance business here, but that is only down to Peter and how good he is at his job. We have also referred other people completing van conversions to Peter. So thank you Peter for all your help, we really appreciate it.

One of the agents, Willa Hong, was amazing, and took the time to review all the aspects of our insurance and ensured that we had the correct coverage we needed. The process was quick and she answered all the questions I had. In fact, once we'd completed the review and made a few updates, the monthly rate went down just a bit, and the policy with the changes were in my email that day. I really appreciate her help, and the service we've received from Co-operators. I'd highly recommend this team to anyone looking for insurances and financial advices.
